Using a cracked screen does not get any better, in fact the situation will get worse. In most cases when the screen cracks but the phone is still functioning we don’t see an urgent need to replace the screen. In this article i will highlight some of the risks associated with using a broken cellular phone screen. Have you ever used a phone with a broken screen for sometimes? Maybe yes, maybe no. Let us now look at the risks

1. It will only get worse

A cracked phone screen is not going to get any better with time. The capacitive touch functionality will no longer respond to finger gestures when the touch screen is cracked.

2. Component protection loss

The glass cover on a cellular phone’s touch screen not only functions as a user-interface device, but it also protects the inner workings of the machine. It’s safe to clean a non-cracked screen with a water-dampened cloth. If your screen’s cracked, it’s no longer able to keep liquids from working its way inside the phone, which makes cleaning the screen with water a risky affair because water inside the phone can short-out or break the device. If the screen was water resistant it will no longer be after it is broken
3. Missing the details
A cracked screen is a distracting screen. Instead of being able to look at a screen and read content, you may have to scroll or reorient the phone to move the content you’re trying to read outside of the cracked area.
4. The glass can cut you
With cracked phone screens, you put your fingers at risk from cuts when you try to swipe through it as per usual. If your phone screen has severe cracks, you could possibly hurt yourself with small glass splinters.

5. Looks unprofessional

People will easily recognize a badly cracked screen. This can reflect negatively on you.
6. Exposure to harmful radiations
There could be greater health risks for its users if a phone’s internal systems (a.k.a. the radiation source) are exposed through the screen cracks,.

Conclusion

Using cracked phones screen is not only unsightly, but can also affect your productivity and overall well-being. Make sure you take necessary precautions like using protective cases to minimize the risk of gadget damage. If you are using a broken phone screen, take a precaution and Replace it.

There are certain things that can really turn your good day to a bad day. This includes a sluggish commute, cancelled appointment with a doctor, spilled coffee a mean work mate. But if there is one problem that can trump the rest is having mobile phone problems. We are obsessed with our phones and we carry them to the parties, office and even bathroom. So we don’t want anything to happen to our phones.

Check our guide on how to resolve most common mobile phone problems;

Phone responding slowly

If there is a problem that almost everyone has experienced at least once is a slow phone. This can be associated with ageing phones but also new phones might experience the same problem. If your Random Access memory(RAM) is full of apps and files you might experience this problem.

Solution: to solve this problem you need to create room in your cache. Close or delete apps that you are not using. Delete files or transfer them to an external storage or google drive. You can then restart your phone.

Battery draining fast

Sometimes battery may drain faster even when it is not utilized. There are some common factors that may lead to this and you should take into account before losing your battery.

Solution: First you can try to dim screen brightness, switch off GPRS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi when you are note using them. If your phone has a battery saver activate it. Identify the app which is draining your battery by going to Settings->battery, you can close or disable the apps if you don’t need them.

Phone Overheating

An overheating phone can be closely related with your battery problem. It can also be related with your charger and the place you normally have your phone. Overheating phone can seriously damage your screen and your battery.

Solution: Try the solutions associated with the battery problem. You should keep your phone from direct sunlight or fire. Switch off your phone and give it time to cool before switching it on again.

Cracked screen

This problem accidentally happens and we cannot do anything about it

Solution: Take it to professional repair center for screen replacement. To avoid such incidents, use a screen protector and a phone cover. They may be expensive but it is worth it.

Connection problem with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth

More than likely your phone is not at fault for network connectivity signal. Settings might not do much to enhance network connectivity since sometimes it might be a hardware problem.

Solution: Before anything first confirm you are not experiencing normal unavoidable problem such as dead signal spot where no one can access network. If other people can access the network, try restarting your phone. Ensure you have the latest operating system installed. If the problem still exists consult professional repair center to do a diagnosis and advise.

If the problem you’re experiencing isn’t explicitly addressed in this list, you may be able to search for solutions online. Do some web searches using your phone’s make and model and the particular difficulty you are having. You can also contact us if the tips in this list don’t solve the problem you are experiencing.
