Wefix Tech Limited Repair Terms and Conditions

a. Warranty

  1. Wefix tech provides a 90-day mobile device hardware and labor warranty on the services and parts provided unless otherwise stated. 
  2. The warranty does not cover future accidents nor does it cover water damaged devices. We are not responsible for any prior residual damage or any data loss. Warranty covers non-user related issues. 
  3. Screen replacement warranty is on sensitivity and the screen has to be displaying, no dents or cracks on the phone.
  4. We offer a 30-day warranty on batteries.
  5. Our warranty will be voided if someone else repairs the device, or if it is damaged after we have repaired it. Device damage that will void the warranty includes dents, cracks, burns, scratches, liquid damage, viruses, and malware
  6. Our warranty is part of the agreement we have with you, and you cannot transfer it to someone else by, for instance, selling the device.

b. Payments and Refunds

  1. When you bring in your device for repair with an issue that requires diagnosis, we’ll need to inspect it to determine what’s wrong with it. For that we charge a diagnosis fee,that is waived/falls away when you opt to repair with us.
  2. Wefix Tech Will repair your device as agreed upon with you. Unless your device is repaired under warranty, full payment of the amount invoiced is due upon the completion of repairs.
  3. If we are unable to repair your Equipment, no fault is found on your Equipment or you do not accept our estimate, we will return your Equipment to you unrepaired.
  4. If we are unable to complete the Service for any reason, or the Service will incur further costs payable by you, we will notify you immediately.
  5. Any time estimate for completion of the Service which may be given to you is an estimate only and does not form any obligation under the terms of this Agreement

c. Refunds

  1. Please note that refunds may take up to 5 working days.
  2. We reserve the right to deduct any labour fees from a refund should the refund not be a result of workmanship or faulty parts.

d. Complex Repairs

  1. Some devices cannot be repaired. We will let you know if it is time to let go
  2. We may in certain circumstances send your equipment to another Wefixtech branch or sub-contract the repair work to a third party.
  3. During Screen Separation, your phone might get damaged as a result of the process involved. The success rate is 50% as opposed to Screen Replacement. We are not liable for the damage that comes with screen separation.
  4. We may not be able to return your original damaged or faulty device components (like batteries) to you, because it is hazardous to store these components.
  5. When we repair Apple devices, the IP Rating (Ingress Protection Rating) will be lost, in other words your device will no longer have a water and dust resistance rating.
  6. The best way to repair a device that has suffered liquid damage is to replace all the internal components. Water and electronics simply don’t mix. The extent of the damage is unpredictable,and once our technicians have worked on your device and its fixed, it may continue to work well, or suddenly malfunction. And there’s no telling when that might be, or what could go wrong.We will handle all arising issues on case per case basis.

Our Responsibility

  1. There maybe Further damage to the device or further loss of functionality when we inspect the already damaged device, open it, or remove the screen or the battery.
  2. If your device was damaged by impact (typically you would have a cracked screen or a bent back cover), the impact may have caused internal component failure on your device and main board. To assess the extent of the impact damage we may need to open the device and remove the screen, battery or other contents, and this may cause further damage. Screens and screen protectors are especially fragile and will crack further when they are removed.
  3. Any data or information that you may have stored on the Equipment shall remain your sole responsibility and we accept no liability for loss or corruption of such data howsoever caused. It is your responsibility to keep a record of any such data.
  4. We shall not be liable to you for any delay in or failure of performance of our obligations under this Agreement arising from any reason beyond our reasonable control.

Device Collection

  1. Customer has 14 days after actual repair is completed to collect the device. If device cannot be collected within 14 days, customer must notify staff when device will be collected.
  2. If customer fails to notify the staff or pick the device up in 30 days Wefix tech ltd will not be liable for any loss or damage of the device.
  3. You must collect your device within 90 days. If you don’t collect your device on time, we may sell it as parts to recover our expenses.
